A hotel born from a mountain hut
Ayazkaya was founded in 1987 as an eight-room mountain hut on the Kartalbaşı plateau. Our founder Hasan Ayaz simply wanted skiers to have a warm hearth and a bowl of soup at the end of the day. The hot spring bubbling up behind the hut was then a secret known only to the villagers.
In 2004 the spring was analysed and certified as a thermal source. Today Ayazkaya offers 58 rooms, 3 chalets, outdoor and indoor thermal pools, a cure centre and a ski school — the only four-season thermal mountain hotel in the region.
